Marian Yu Designs has been in business since 1982. Marian starts designing furniture, home furnishing, and accessories for tabletop house ware products. The same year, Macy Department Store, the new Cellar opened in San Francisco and it carries all her products. After the success of the business, the company starts marketing thru TV shopping with Home Shopping Network and QVC. MYD offer a cost savings and limited edition of collectible porcelain dolls and gifts with best prices. The TV medium offer discount and made shopping easy for people. Her customer fan base grew as they love her products. The collection is still being trade actively on eBay.

Today most products are mass produced, Marian decide to offer this unique niche of 'hand made' and one of a kind products Online shopping only.
